Nithyananda should not indulge in any teachings or preaching except yoga. After spending 51 days in prison, Swami Nithyananda, facing rape and other criminal charges, got bail on Friday [11-6-2010]. The Karnataka High Court granted conditional bail to him and his close disciple Swami Bhaktananda. Justice Subhash B Adi while allowing the two bail petitions filed by Nithyananda has asked him to furnish a personal bond of Rs 1 lakh and two local sureties. Not just that. The court laid down several other conditions — that Nithyananda should not leave the place without the permission of jurisdictional court and mark his attendance once in every 15 days at the jurisdictional police station. “He should not indulge in any teachings or preaching except yoga. A spiritual head should be free from all attachments and denounce world. However, it is not for this court to dwell on that issue. The public is already sensitized by media in this regard.
