We must have faith in everything. Without faith we cannot solve anything. In India Varanasi is a Holy Town, with thousands of devotees daily worshipping at Lord Kasiviswanathar temple. Several saints were also living in Varanasi and they are very learned people in Vedas, Sasthras and Puranas.
Once a saint wants to cross the river Ganges and go to a village for purana lecture. He entered in
The Pandit was talking in this vain way and the passengers sitting in silent. That time, when a great storm arose and the boat was about to sink. The passenger seated by the side of Saint now asked him, “Swamiji can you swim?” “No” replied the saint. The passenger told him that “I don’t know Vedanta, Samkhya and Patanjala, but I can swim.” The saint now kept silent without uttering a single word.
The lesson of this story is what will a man gain by many scriptures? The one thing needful is to know how to cross the river, when some danger happened. We know that God alone is real and all else is illusory. We have to swim across the world with faith as well as to learn everything to swim across the real River. In our life we must try to learn everything not only depending on a particular subject. Then only we can able to cross even the sea and the moon.
Aspiring people are inspiring people.
