In Indian epics it is stated that king Arjuna was the best friend Lord Krishna. Arjuna’s greatest achievement is not his knowledge, but the protection that his friend Krishna gives to him in the battle field Kurukshetra. . Like that every person in their routine life must have good friends.
Men are of different nature and disposition. When young, we come across a variety of persons, but in the course of time we develop and retain friendships only with a few. During adulthood, though we may come to know many more people, only a limited number of friends are added. This is a natural process, mainly depending upon our deposition and needs.
Selection of reading materials should be similar. Good books like good friends are to be selected, because they have to satisfy our interests and our needs। If you visit a book store, you will find a multitude of books there. But you buy only titles that you find interesting or useful and worth keeping. You find the necessary information, inspiration and enlightenment only in such books just as you get emotional warmth, mutuality of interest and security only among good friends.
While selecting, we must select good books and good friends।
